Book Functional Anatomy for Mastering Vinyasa - Upper Body

An Upper Body Experience.
This course will be for current teachers and yoga students who have a committed yoga practice. It will encompass Upper Body anatomy as a focus with connected additional analysis of the torso & spine.

Course Intention

~ To delve deeply into our structural and bio-mechanical anatomy possibilities, identifying exactly how all these differences play out within our Vinyasa postures within a dynamic practice.

~ To breakdown and analyze Vinyasa postures functionally, asking what each posture practically addresses, what could be more efficient, and most importantly, what is safe.

~ To strip back the layers of a pre-conceived alignment one size fits all approach and really delve into seeing, understanding and therefore effectively practicing and teaching what is appropriate for the individual.

~ To challenge and transform even the most seasoned of practitioners, guiding participants to interiorizing their practice inwards to their experience, thus realising and re-connecting to the true essence of the yoga discipline.
