A Taoist-Feminine Approach to Practicing Yin Yoga
Sunday 13th September 4-6.30pm UK LIVE Online.
2.5 Hour Workshop with Jamie Clarke, E-RYT 500, MSc & Transpersonal Psychology Trainer.
The last workshop offered an introduction to balancing Masculine and Feminine energies.
We outlined a psychological approach—one of individuation and integration; a Taoist, natural approach of building and yielding to create harmony; and a third approach drawn from Yoga and Tantra—that of Self-connection to the aspect being witnessed itself.
In this next workshop, we will practise Yin Yoga again, but this time we will dig deeper into a Taoist, receptive/Feminine approach. We will explore more deeply how we relate to what is present in each pose, offering ourselves surrender and acceptance as we adjust to its expression and allow for intuitive Self-balancing. In essence, this is a Taoist, bottom-up approach to our practice, relating significantly to the Root and Sacral Chakras.
Join me, Jamie Clarke, as we build on the previous workshop and move towards a Taoist, natural, Feminine approach to our Yin Yoga practice. We will later explore working with the psyche, but as a container for this process, we will first anchor ourselves in the sacred body, drawing on its wisdom and truth as we move forward in our spiritual and sacred process.
