About the Training

Whether your intention is to start your own yoga business, teach at a inspiring studio or club or just to deepen your knowledge and improve your practice, this course will help you reach your dreams. Designed by teachers for teachers, the Yoga People TT 200 offers students a course linking deep understanding and a close relationship with the traditional practice around the following disciplines:  breath, bandhas, drishti, vinyasa, and asanas. With practical and creative methods to make this ancient practice accessible, our training structure is modern, therapeutic, challenging yet completely supportive.

The syllabus is modular moving through subjects such as philosophy and tradition, ethics, routines, modifications, anatomy, pranayama, kriya cleansing techniques and the chakra system . Also the training includes the opportunity to learn several different routines based on the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. A thorough understanding of how to correctly sequence a class will be covered, so that students are able to organise classes in traditional layers but also have scope for creativity within this format.

In addition we offer extra modules such as structuring small or large classes, building a yoga business and working with students on a one to one level. We will share our expertise about yoga industry practices such as marketing, and approach in whatever area or country you intend to teach, guiding you to attract the right students or help to set up your own yoga business.

As you grow with us, your knowledge and experience will crystallize making you a confident and effective teacher. The overall purpose of this program is to provide a supportive environment in which students begin to connect with their inner teacher, internal wisdom and authentic teaching voice. By performing pranayama, asana practice, mind-body journaling, group conversation, and meditation, students will develop the essential process of conscious listening to your own inner teacher.
